Frequently asked questions
The flowers we use come directly from the farm and are processed and fabulously arranged with flower food already in the water to help them last as long as possible. With this in mind, your hydrangeas should last longer than other hydrangeas you’ve previously purchased.
But if you’re looking for ways to make hydrangeas last longer, here are some top tips to help preserve them:
- Change the water: Try to change the water of your flowers after you’ve received them and always make sure their water level is at the top of the vase.
- Replace water and trim: Make sure to replace your hydrangeas’ water every two-three days and trim the stem at least an inch from the bottom at an angle.
Keep them fed: If you don’t have any flower food (or have run out), you can opt for adding a couple tablespoons of sugar which will work as food for the stems. Maintaining the flowers’ stems is just as important as the flower heads.
We’ve partnered with the best flower farms in the world, to ensure we source only the best quality blooms. By working directly with our farms, we maintain a close relationship with them and skip distributors or wholesalers so we know exactly what standard of flowers you will receive. That way, you’ll be wowed by your Hydrangea bouquet every time. We don’t settle for anything less.
We aim to provide the very best floristry service each and every time - so when you order from us, you know what to expect. Only the best quality flowers will be delivered to your door, so you come back to us to receive beautiful flowers time and time again.
Hydrangeas need at least four-six hours of direct sunlight, preferably in the morning so your flowers will soak up the sun well on a windowsill.
Of course. We have Express Delivery availability that you can select during checking out. This guarantees you an early priority delivery time. Please select this time for a priority delivery time...
We always retain the wonderful element of surprising the person you’re sending flowers to. If our delivery driver knocks on the door and there is no answer, our customer service team will call to the recipient’s phone number. If no one answers, we may call you to ask to advise. If our driver is at a business or residence where there is a safe location we will leave it in a safe place, and then leave a voicemail for your recipient to let them know they have flowers. We’ll leave our information as well so that they can reach out in case there are any concerns. In occurrences when we do not feel like there is a safe place to leave the flowers, we return them to the shop and notify you and your recipient, letting your recipient know to reach out to us to reschedule the delivery of a fresh arrangement at a time that works best for them. This is something we offer typically at no extra cost.
